Hi To All,
Thanks to all who sent Birthday Greetings! Someday soon, I probably
won't want to remember that day. But for now you all make my heart feel
glad.
Thanks to Marcie, I now have a Rex Allen Jr. pin. Glad you like the CD I
traded for it!
It has been a busy summer. Deanna and I drove almost eight thousand
miles from mid July through the end of August. From the North Dakota
State Fair to seeing Wyatt pitch in Winston-Salem and then back to
Vegas.
We flew to Kansas for the shows at the Prairie Rose in Wichita. I
celebrated my Birthday with lots of friends and special people like
Nadine Hilbert and Terri Maynard, my Fan Club Presidents. Then the
Lydics took Deanna and me to The North Town Opry for the shows there. It
was a lot of fun to work with only me and a guitar. And no that wasn't
my bus that was there. Richard Davis owns that bus. But Deanna said that
if we could travel in one of those, she would love it. The cost of that
one was around $800,000!!!!!
Our next stop is Minnesota, then Gene Autry, OK with Roy Rogers Jr.,
Johnny Western and Les Gilliam. The first week in October is always set
aside for Rex Allen Days in Willcox, AZ.
Hope you all stay well. Thanks for writing to the web site. Deanna and I
check it all the time.
Rex
