June 11, 2009 Dear Friends, I haven’t died!!!! Those of you that know me, know that I don’t let grass grow under my feet. I have been working on a new project. Several to be exact. First, a new company. www.TheCowboysNetwork.com goes up and running on July 4, 2009. It has long been a dream of mine to bring back the old Westerns that many of us love so much from our youth. I HAVE FINIALLY DONE IT! After five long years I put together the team to make it happen. I now have more “B” Westerns than anyone on the earth. The first 50 will be available on July 4th. And by Christmas we plan to have over 500 for you to see. We have taken the films to a higher quality than 1080p. Better than when you might have seen them in your youth. I am doing intros on all the films giving a short history of each film. There is also a radio station attached to the Cowboys Network, www.rangeradio.com. I am the voice of the Range. You will be able to hear real Country and Western Music. From Rex Allen Sr. to Roy Rogers to Garth to Patsy to me, all will be on The Range. Not only will you be able to listen to the Internet radio station, you’ll be able to buy the music that is impossible to find anywhere any more. Soon there will be a magazine and a General store. I’m going to call it “All the songs Rex Allen Jr. recorded; put on an album; should have released as a single and didn’t”. Deanna says that’s to long a title! So, I’m going to call it “Songs I wrote”. Working on the cover now and should have it ready to go by the time I get to the Prairie Rose Chuck Wagon on July 24th. That’s a new date with my friend Bix Crary. As for those that are up close and personal to me, Deanna is better than ever. She looks beautiful, and is selling luxury condo’s here in Vegas. Times are hard out there, but she has sold six in the last two weeks! She is at the top of her game and one of the top people in her business. Next Jackson and Colby. Both Grand Sons are growing way to fast. Deanna and I try to get to Texas and Tennessee to see them as often as possible. Aren’t Grand Kids GREAT! Wade is doing well in his business. Like all of us he is working hard. He sure loves Colby and that Grand Son is the image of Wade. Just like his Dad. Wyatt and Rachel are raising Jackson in Nashville. Swimming and playing. Wyatt has finished his first year of Grad School and is working for HCA this summer. They are doing fine. Marcus and Julia are in Texas. Marc is working hard and Julia is continuing on with her education and working too. They are redoing a house in Texas, so their off hours are spent with a paint brush! Cody is in Knoxville at UT. He is going to Summer School to try and graduate early. Still a Business Major and having trouble with Spanish just like his Dad! So, lots going on. As for road work, well I’ve had to cut back because of the new business but I haven’t quit! There are dates I working and I will get them to Susan soon. Miss You All. Rex
