February 3 2003
Hi Everybody,
Boy it was a long January! Deanna and I started back on the road with
LeRoy VanDyke and Gladys on January 11th and we have only been home
about ten days.
I am sure glad to hear that there are some stations out there that are
playing "Classic Country and Western Music.. Keith, you can be sure I'll
tune you in when I get up that way in March.
It is always good to hear from old friends. SOB (Bill McCullough) it has
been way too long! Dennis... you too! Why, even the new pickers have
found the WEB, like Ryan Martin.
When you have had as
many miles under your belt as I have had, sometimes the road gets long.
It is good to know that the old friends and fans are still there, and
new ones are coming into the picture.
Those of you that are looking for old albums of mine, I haven't
transferred them to CD. I am going to do that for some of them this
year. If you are looking to replace your old tapes and albums, try EBAY.
Deanna and I buy stuff there all the time and I do see albums like "Me
and My Broken Heart."
For the camcorder question. As a rule I don't like people to tape my
shows. Casinos don't like it either. You really have to talk to me at
the date and ask then.
I am going to update the schedule in the next few days. But Wickenburg
is in for February 13th. Something else that is going on that day is
that I will be performing "Arizona" in the Arizona Senate chambers on
the 13th for Statehood Day. My old friend Leo Corbit set that up.
You all take care. Come and see one of the concerts when you can.
Rex
