A message from Rex

Christmas 2004

Well, what a year it has been. Two weddings, lots of travel and many, many new friends.

Wyatt and Rachel’s wedding in November was beautiful. Rachel was a beautiful bride and Wyatt wasn’t too bad either! I was the best man and Cody and Logan were groomsmen. Personally, I think that Deanna was the prettiest I have ever seen her. She was radiant. Wyatt and Rachel plan to live in Nashville for now. He starts Spring training in February and hopefully this will be the year he moves up to the majors.

Cody, Deanna and I spent Thanksgiving with Wade and Chris in Texas with lots of family. Wade and Chris are doing fine and no grandchildren yet! It was sure good to see them all again. The drive home was fun too. Lots of snow in New Mexico.

Marcus is in Texas too, so we got to see him also. He looks great! All you single woman look out. Dark hair and Blue eyes! He is working with his Dad and brother Wade.

Logan is doing well to in Nashville. He just got the lead roll in Oklahoma. It was a part I played in High School many, many moons ago. He is singing in one of the best groups I have heard in a long time. He’s getting so tall!

Cody is here with Deanna and I in Vegas. He is on the honor roll at school and has just been invited to attend the international business conference in Vienna, Austria this summer for people his age. His girlfriend is the top Golfer in the state of Nevada. He’s tall too!

Deanna is working hard on the Real Estate business here in Vegas. I am so proud of her. She looks great and has a great future in that business. Also, she will still be able to go on the road with me most of the time. Deanna is at the top of her game. She looks the best she has ever looked.

In other news…there will be a new CD in 2005. However, it won’t be available here in the United States ‘till summer. Thanks to Thomas Etherege of the Prairie Rose Chuck Wagon we are taking Western Music to China! Johnny Western, The Prairie Rose Wranglers and I are going to do six shows in China in May of 2005. We will be representing the US in China. There is talk of a documentary and maybe a special for this country in the fall of the year. I’ll start production in Wichita sometime in January 2005. You can follow along on the progress by using the link on our web site.

I am going to do another CD as well. This one will be ”My Favorite Yesteryears”. Deanna and I are putting it together now and hope to have it ready by Spring.

As many of you know I spent the first three months of the year working in Arizona and California. One special series of concerts will be The Festival of the West in Scottsdale, AZ in March. Again, check the link for all the details.

I hope that all of you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Deanna, me and our family wish you all the happiest of seasons. Me we all have a prosperous New Year.

Rex
